At My Life Story, we are a proud family-run business dedicated to helping you preserve the moments that shaped your life.
Through our personal one-to-one service, we take the time to sit down with you and listen. Together, we walk through the chapters of your life—capturing your memories, your experiences, and the journey that has made you who you are today. Your story is then carefully documented in up to a 100 page book plus up to 250 pictures and up to 15000 words, creating a beautiful record that can be shared with family and passed down through generations. It’s a way to help others understand your path, your experiences, and the memories that matter most. We also offer something truly special: a film version of your story Book. This is a page-by-page visual presentation of your book, accompanied by carefully chosen background music. The finished film lasts around one hour and thirty minutes and is supplied on a convenient memory stick—perfect for sharing at a major birthday celebration, anniversary, or family gathering. Our service is designed to make telling your story comfortable and personal. We offer up to three face-to-face home visits included, each lasting up to six hours if needed, so your memories can be told in your own words, in your own way. Once complete, you will receive five A4 hardback landscape copies of your life story. Each book is printed in full colour on high-quality satin paper, with a beautifully gloss-laminated hardback cover—a lasting keepsake for you and your loved ones. The total cost for this complete service is £3750, payable in 2 instalments: an initial payment of £1750 at the start, and then a final payment of £2000 following our final consultation, before we go to print. And your story doesn’t have to end there. We also offer the option to add new chapters in future years, allowing you to continue building your life story as new memories are made. Additional content can be added to the end of your existing publication and reprinted. This service, is priced on a page-by-page basis, depending on the work involved.
